“Nordketten Experiance”

Was für ein herrlicher Tag auf der Hafelekarspitze (2334m). Ich hab einige Aquarellskizzen angefertigt und bin mit einer Vielzahl von Referenzmatrial nach Hause gekommen What a great day at Hafelekarspitze (2334m), high above Innsbruck. I made some watercolour sketches and came home with lots of material to work from!

Fishing boats on the Isle of Wight

A good catch! Isle of Wight. The last painting of a series of fishing boats. The “against the light” scene attracted me to sketch it and finally I finished a full size water colour 56x76cm today.

Stormy Sea

“Stormy Sea” at Freshwater Bay, Isle of Wight. Inspired by a beautiful photo of the landscape photographer Brian Gilbert (www.isleofwightlandscapes.com) whom I met at Freshwater, I created this large size (22″x30″ / 56x76cm) watercolour painting in my studio this morning.

Isle of Wight painting experience

I just finished a one week painting on the Isle of Wight. I was mainly fighting against the heavy wind, but at the end I could create some impressions of the beautiful island.
